STEIFF BEAR MARGARETE STEIFF COLLECTORS EDITION 1983 CHOCOLATE 0160/00. Chocolate Brown Teddy Bear 4 piece Limited Edition Collectors Edition 1983. This set was limited to production in 1983 to the number of orders received thru the end of April that year. Each bear is made of chocolate brown mohair with leatherette paws, stitched claws on the hands and feet, and shoe button eyes. Is fully jointed and has a hump back. There is a squeezable sound maker in the bear marked 0160/26 and an automatic sound maker in the 0160/32 and 0160/42 bears. This exclusive set was made by Steiff for sales in the United States only. This set is missing the bear marked 0160/18. There is some damage to the paws on two of the bears : 0160/32 and 0160/42. The Bears are in otherwise mint condition with ALL their original tags and the original box. Our price reflects the aforementioned damage and one missing bear.
