So here we are making memory of the most famous Queen who was with us and admired throughout the world. She is made from the finest dense pale white mohair and is 5 way jointed (which means you can move her head, arms and legs). She has the famous Steiff long arms and her paw pads are made from matching felt – just look at her paw pads and you will see they are embroidered in gold thread. One says’1926 – 2022′ and the other has the Queens cypher. She has an adorable face with sweet ears and on one is the famous Steiff white label and gold button. She has black eyes and a very special nose and mouth which are hand embroidered and the nose is threaded diagonally with a single thread each side – and leads to a smiling nose. She is wearing a special royal tiara which has been made from imitation diamonds and crystals and around her body she wears a special blue sash together with the Order of the Garter. King Edward III in 1348 found the Order of the Garter which is Britain’s oldest order of chivalry. Its phrase of’honi soit qui mal y pense’ means’shame on him who thinks evil of it – which is now the motto of the Order. To finish off the majestical scene her Majesty is wearing two frames surrounded by imitation diamonds. In one under a pink ribbon is a picture of George VI (her father).
